ABOUT THE FOUNDER & CEO

Jonea Patton

Meet Cleveland’s own, Jonea Patton, Owner and CEO of Center Stage Performing Arts.
Since the age of 8, Jonea has loved sharing her voice through singing, and her love for the arts with those throughout the state of Ohio and far beyond.
Jonea is a proud graduate of the Cleveland School of Arts, where her gifts and talents began to take flight. Learning, developing, and performing with some of the most talented teachers and students that the city of Cleveland has to offer.  Jonea then furthered her education, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Central State University in 2004, performing with the Grammy Nominated CSU Chorus throughout her stay. Jonea then went on to teach choir and musical theater for public schools.
Throughout the years, Jonea has used her educational background and experiences as part of her unique strategy to connect with and inspire adults and youth from all over, leaning on that initial spark that was given to her by her mother and grandmother at a very young age.
Jonea’s passion for helping others to discover their potential and purpose, is the driving force behind her approach to teaching today, knowing first hand that being active in the arts helps to build confidence and gives individuals exposure to new ideas, concepts, people and places.
With all the knowledge Jonea has acquired since her first job as a vocal coach and play director for an inner-city performing arts program, to sharing the same stage with many national recording artists, as well as writing and recording her own music, that is now streaming across all platforms, she desires to build up those around her. Jonea is eager to share with others what she has coined as the 5 I’s: Inspire-Instruct-Influence-Impact & Imagine. It is Jonea’s genuine desire to see people come alive and to provide a positive outlet that will afford the opportunity for adults and youth to achieve their greatest potential.
